Research ritual (every ≤14 days)

1. Open each vendor source below — confirm list prices for current flagship / mid / bulk SKUs.
2. Note long-context (≥200k) and batch discounts (Claude/Gemini −50%, xAI select −20%).
3. Anthropic: Sonnet 5 $2/$10 is the permanent standard (the Sept 1 $3/$15 bump was cancelled).
4. Open models (IBM Granite): table $ = 3rd-party hosted APIs; note self-host is usually cheaper.
5. Edit PRICES in worker.js, set PRICES_UPDATED to today ISO, redeploy.
6. Verify /api/v1/prices → stale:false, model_count matches.
